I was born in Abeline, TX and raised in Lake Travis, Austin. At Lake Travis High School, I played basketball, track, and was on the power lifting team; but wake boarding was my true passion. I even wake boarded on the Texas State collegiate team. After college, I began my personal training career at Gold’s and the YMCA, where I met my future husband, Josh. He fell in love with me and couldn’t keep his hands
I was born and raised in Southern California where you can comfortably exercise outdoors 365 days a year! At a very young age, I played competitive soccer, and in high school I competed in cross-country, soccer, and track & field, and loved every minute of it. Track & field was my life for a short time at UC Irvine, but I eventually decided to focus on my studies instead.
I was born and raised in sunny Southern California. I played roller hockey from about 12 years old until I was 17. In high school I played football and did track and field events but honestly wasn’t very good at either; I joined too late in the season and didn’t have a chance to build my skills. In college, things got a little crazy. I joined UC Irvine Crew (rowing) and immediately found something I could enjoy and excel in.
Like the cedar trees that stir up allergies, I am not from here and refuse to leave. Born in Ruidoso, NM but raised in El Paso, TX, I tried many sports but excelled at none. Not giving up on fitness, I tried many avenues to stay healthy and active:Zumba, kick-boxing, tae bo, and I even completed 2 Rock-n-Roll half-marathons. It wasn't until I was introduced to CrossFit that I found my passion, my strength, and my confidence.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, I grew up playing basketball, volleyball and track. Following high school I moved to Texas to attend the university of Texas. It is here in Austin I met my amazing and badass wife, Kindel, who introduced me to the sport of crossfit and I have been hooked ever since. I have been a part of the Heroes family as a member and coach for nearly three years now and love what we do and represent.
I spent eight glorious years leading Marines as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps. After my tour with Uncle Sam’s Misguided Children, I became disgruntled with my nasty civilian ways and began searching for a fitness program mentally and physically stimulating enough to engage my otherwise random, energetic personality. Initially, I cherry picked his CrossFit WODs from CrossFit.com,
