Olympic Lifting

Heroes CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Club focuses primarily on improving the technical execution of the snatch, clean & jerk and related lifts.

Open to all members of Heroes CrossFit as well as non-members. This program is intended to supplement your regular training regimen and improve explosiveness, strength, and coordination in addition to improving comfort with the lifts.

The Heroes CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Club meets twice a week for 90 minutes each session. Programs are on a 12 week cycle and classes are scheduled in the evening. Programming is focused on the needs of the group, along with necessary modifications for individual athletes, and varies weekly. In each session athletes can expect to snatch or clean & jerk, perform dynamic pulling drills, and perform skill transfer drills and other supplemental exercises for the Olympic lifts.

Kindel has obtained a CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Certification, as well as the Advanced CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Certification.  She is also a certified USA Weightlifting Level One Coach.
