Kindel Huberty

I was born in Abeline, TX and raised in Lake Travis, Austin. At Lake Travis High School, I played basketball, track, and was on the power lifting team; but wake boarding was my true passion.  I even wake boarded on the Texas State collegiate team. After college, I began my personal training career at Gold’s and the YMCA, where I met my future husband, Josh. He fell in love with me and couldn’t keep his hands

off me; and 7 years later, we now have two amazing little girls!

In 2007, I drove by CrossFit Central on Burnet road and saw a bunch of girls doing pull-ups, so I stopped to see what was going on. Little did I know that fateful stop would change the course of the rest of my career. For several years, I was a member of CrossFit Cedar Park, which is where I first met Heroes’ owners, Jason and HB, who were also members at the time. Because I loved CrossFit so much, I began coaching the CrossFit methodology for my personal training clients. In 2012, I began coaching at Heroes CrossFit and have loved the community of people of which I am a part. CrossFit can fit the goals and fitness needs of anyone from any age range, whether you are in the best shape of your life, overweight, or a stay at home mom. We can train you and improve your lifestyle no matter your starting point.

My degree is in exercise science from Texas State. I have a certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and from PFTA (personal fitness training association). In CrossFit, I have the Level I CrossFit certification and the CrossFit Olympic Lifting. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed coaching Olympic lifting, and in 2013, I received a USAW (United States of America Weightlifting) certification. .
